Being in lockdown forced me to pause, reflect and to complete all the things I always wanted to do and never had the time. The gift of time is so precious, and I value its meaning even more today. Here are some the things I’ve been enjoying that I want to share with you…
I never considered myself a baker, but I’ve been enjoying cooking at home lately. Discovering new healthy recipes. The Deliciously Ella App
made everything very easy and accessible for me. Everything is plant based and delicious!
I recommend the avocado pasta recipe and the chocolate chip cookies!
I’ve been taking astrology classes twice a week too with a small group of friends with my astrologer @astrologyofthesoul
- and it’s been a very interesting journey of self discovery.
Star Power by Vanessa Montgomery is a very well edited book that I keep on bedside table and refer to when I need to.
I’ve always been into everything cosmic, and my coming fragrance line AZALEO (@azaleo_official) is inspired by the moon, the sun and the stars.
I try to move as much as I can (indoors) and I created my own schedule based on instagram live classes and zoom classes. I recommend Rod from @PsycleLondon
who teaches barre and @Boxerina.fit
with Danielle from Dannijo. It’s a mix of Boxing and Ballet and creates a toned body with long and lean lines.
Reconnecting with my meditation practice came at the perfect timing. I sometimes meditate alone or I attend live meditations on instagram. I love Anoushka from @TheGodessSpace
in London and Bayan from @TantricMantra
who is based in Jeddah they have beautiful offerings.
I bought myself a colouring book for adults and a pencil case. I’ve been doing that while I listen to a podcast (Goodness podcast from women in the Middle East) or an audio book (audible app from amazon is very well done and has a sleep timer too).
6. LEARNING A SKILL
I picked up the piano again thanks to the app “FLOW KEY”
that teaches me how to play the songs that I like. It’s very user friendly and I strongly recommend getting the membership.
